I’m Julie – the artist & music lover behind Althea’s Closet. I LOVE creating one-of-a-kind wearable art to make you shine! From tie dye to patchwork to digital designs, I pour a bit of love and positivity into each piece I create, and I hope you feel it too.

Everything is created in small batches from my home studio just outside of Baltimore, Maryland, where I live with my husband and our three kitties. When I’m not here creating, you will probably find me out in my garden, hiking, or rockin’ at a festival!

My passion for the magic of live music is just as great as my passion for protecting our planet. I strive to be as eco-friendly as possible by upcycling and repurposing clothing, shipping with recycled/recyclable packaging, and sourcing ethically made products.
