F***ed up beyond all recognition… The word fubar, a public domain acronym dating back to WWII, likely described the members at the inception of the band but has now come to describe the state of the world. The origin of Fubar dates back to 2011 when the band was formed in a garage in Irwin, PA about 40 minutes east of the city of Pittsburgh. Over the past decade, they have released 3 studio albums and several EP’s and taken their music all over the local and regional areas creating a name for themselves across the reggae-rock and DIY punk communities. They had the opportunity to play the final Pittsburgh stop of the Vans Warped Tour, in addition to sharing the stage with the likes of The Movement, Tropidelic, Bumpin Uglies, Ballyhoo, Sun Dried Vibes, Authority Zero, HR (of the Bad Brains), The Toasters and many more

Fubar’s new record ‘State of Mind’ boasts twelve tracks independently produced. This record offers a variety of sounds and styles including reggae-rock, punk rock and ska. You can expect a third wave ska sound through the melodic horn riffs with the addition of elements of punk rock and rock n roll through creative guitar leads and solos along with catchy and relatable accompanying lyrics.

After permanently incorporating their own horn section, the band has grown exponentially in following, sound and live performance. Fubar is seeking to expand that following even more and to follow up the ‘State of Mind’ record with a ton of shows this summer and beyond.
