Irie Souljah is a reggae singer, songwriter, and producer originally from Barcelona, Spain. He discovered reggae at a young age, inspired by artists like Bob Marley, Sizzla, and Buju Banton, and in his teens he formed his first band, Mystic Souldiers. Adopting the name “Irie Souljah,” he combined the Jamaican word “Irie,” meaning good and peaceful, with “Souljah,” symbolizing strength and resilience.
In 2014, he moved to Kingston, Jamaica to fully immerse himself in the culture and sound of reggae. Since then, he has collaborated with Jamaican and international artists, performed at major festivals, and built a reputation for delivering roots-driven, message-filled music. His songs often explore themes of unity, identity, spirituality, and the global human journey.
In 2025, he released his album World Citizen, a project that reflects his life’s path, bridging his Spanish roots with his Jamaican home and his place in the worldwide reggae movement.
