Formed over 13 years ago by two brothers and their cousin, Krucial Rootz is on a mission to bring reggae music to the heart of Texas, where the scene has long been underrepresented. After spending time apart to start families and pursue other endeavors, the trio reunited to create something bigger than themselves—a reggae movement in Bryan-College Station.

A few have played with notable reggae bands, including The Contrabandits out of Austin, Texas, and have shared stages at renowned events like the Austin Reggae Festival and the San Antonio Reggae Festival.
