Maoli is a Hawaiian-born singer-songwriter and genre-blending artist known for fusing island reggae, country, and soul into a sound often dubbed “island-country.”

Born and raised in upcountry Maui, Maoli grew up with a deep sense of cultural identity, working in ranching and farm life and absorbing the melodies and traditions of Hawaiian music. Over time, he began weaving in influences from rock, reggae, and classic country—drawing inspiration from artists like Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, and George Strait.

His path toward musical prominence started modestly—learning ukulele in school, performing locally, and stepping away at times to work construction—before rediscovering his artistic calling later in life. With renewed devotion, he began releasing music independently, eventually putting out nine studio albums and accumulating over half a billion streams worldwide.

Maoli’s work has been celebrated across Hawaiʻi and beyond. He has earned numerous regional chart-topping hits and island music awards. His recognition has grown steadily on the U.S. mainland as well, as he tours nationally and pushes to bring his unique island-country fusion to broader audiences.

In 2025, Maoli continues building momentum: he has signed with ONErpm for record distribution, released the album Last Sip of Summer, and begun working with hit producers to refine his sound even further. He’s also set to make his Grand Ole Opry debut, blending his Hawaiian roots with the heart of country music.

At his core, Maoli views music as a bridge: a way to honor his heritage, share aloha, and connect listeners from islands to heartland with songs that feel grounded, heartfelt, and universally hopeful.
